ICIEA2021 Special Session on Intelligent control and optimization of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
Session Organizers: Wang Xinli
CALL FOR PAPERS
Recently, the energy consumption in buildings accounts about 40% of the total world energy consumption, thus Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems are widely used in buildings to provide the comfortable indoor environment. Simultaneously, a large amount of energy is consumed by the HVAC system during the ventilation, air temperature, humidity and CO2 etc. control. Therefore, the development and implementation of effective control and optimization techniques for HVAC systems for the purpose of energy savings is of primary importance.
The objective of this session is to provide a forum for researchers to discuss research work related to Intelligent control and optimization of HVAC systems. Original innovative research papers addressing the following technology areas and their potential applications are invited:
• Thermal comfort control for HVAC systems.
• Modelling and control of critical components of HVAC systems.
• Energy optimization of HVAC systems.
• Indoor Air Quality Management of HVAC systems.
•
Integration of renewable energy systems and HVAC systems.
Submissions:
Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format by the submission deadline.
